We have completed the purchase agreement. Surprisingly difficult, tortuous, traumatic. Monday, 31.Jan.2022, 10:00 AM in Fort Pierce, Florida; we close and take ownership and possession of the boat. Previously known as “Dream On”, she will be renamed, with proper ritual (including prayers in Hebrew) to “Bat HaYam” – “Daughter of the sea” (or “The mermaid”). We have a rabbi on board to officiate, the woman of whom I am husband.
We will refit: many details including some required engine work and a set of nice-to-have additions and fixes.
We plan to set sail 18.Feb.2022, bound for Key West and beyond.
